The MiniMALL is a new concept business to consumer referral site designed for people that hate to shop.  The MiniMALL has identified and recruited local businesses that have agreed to provide discounts on products and services to MiniMALL members.  Participating vendors include over 250 businesses representing over 150 different vertical markets. All businesses are local to the area and have been serving the tri-state area (DE, PA, NJ) for years. The member contacts the MiniMALL to get a referral and contacts the business locally.  The miniMALL does not accept "kickbacks" from the vendor.  Instead any "kickback" is given to the consumer in the form of a special service or discount.  Again this service is for our MEMBERS ONLY.  Memberships start as low as $50 per year.

The MiniMALL
Q: WHAT IS THE MINIMALL?
A: The MiniMALL is a group of small businesses that have agreed to provide special pricing, promotion and services to MiniMALL members.

Q: HOW DOES THE MINIMALL WORK?
A: The MiniMALL matches a consumer searching for a product or service with a local vendor that is willing to discount that particular product or service, similar to a headhunter matching an employee to a company.  A MiniMALL member emails the MiniMALL requesting a particular product or service.  The MiniMALL searches its database of vendors and make contact for the consumer.  If the vendor is willing to provide the product or service AT A DISCOUNT, the consumer will be emailed with the vendor contact information.  The consumer may then contact and pay the vendor directly.

Q: HOW ARE VENDORS SCREENED?
A: Many vendors have been screened and used by Second Source Computers directly.  Some vendors belong to a business to business barter group and have been screened by that organization.  In all cases, the vendors that participate are willing and in fact pleased to provide their product or service at a discount, because to them it's found money for them.  They did not have to pay to generate the lead or go through the screening process.  And they do not provide the MiniMALL with a "kickback" or finders fee.

Q: DOES THE MINMALL ACCEPT REFERRAL FEES FROM PARTICIPATING VENDORS?
A: No.

Q: HOW DOES THE MINIMALL BENEFIT?
A: The MiniMALL is funded by the member membership fees.  Memberships begin as low as $50 for the year to gain access to the vendor database.  More expensive memberships are available that also provide computer services.

Q: HOW MANY VENDORS PARTICIPATE?
A: Over 100 different businesses covered with over 250 vendors participating.

Q: THAT IS QUITE A LIST OF MARKETS COVERED.
A: Yes. A major part of this list is due to the fact that many of these vendors already participate in a business to business network.

Q: DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF VENDORS FOR REVUE?
A: No.  All vendors are contacted on a case by case basis.

Q: THIS SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. WHAT'S THE CATCH?
A: Currently the MinIMALL is being beta tested in the tri-state PA, DE, MD, NJ states only.  We may not have a participating vendor offering a product or service discount close to you.  Also due to demand it may take anywhere from 2 to 5 business days for us to respond to your EMAIL request for a vendor.

Q: HOW WAS THE MINIMALL DEVELOPED?
A: The MiniMALL was first developed and tested over two years ago.  The MiniMALL was developed by Ken Jaskulski, owner of Second Source Computer Centers, Inc.  As a consumer, Ken hates to shop for anything.  Also anyone can place an ad in the newspaper, phone book or website for that matter.  And when you have  a problem with a vendor and the vendor doesn't resolve it to your satisfaction, what happens.  You write a letter to the BBB, the vendor may or may not respond and ususally that is the end of it. The newspaper or phone book certainly isn't going to help you out.  The MinMALL has more power than any BBB organization.  The MiniMALL will act as YOUR ADVOCATE in the event of a problem.  If the vendor doesn't make the problem right, they get no more referrals.

Q: CAN I TRY THE SERVICE?
A: Currently we are offering a special where we will find you one referral without obtaining a membership.  Email minimall@secondsourcecomputers.com with your request. If you want to sign up, we can accept an online membership or stop into our retail location at Second Source Computers, 2201 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE  19810.
